Qantas plans to buy 188 A320s, 737s

Australian carrier Qantas plans to expand its short haul fleet with a mixture of Boeing 737s and Airbus A320 and A321 jets, according to a press release. Between the two jet makers, Qantas will place 99 firm orders and 89 options.
Airbus wins a larger share of the Qantas order with 68 orders and 40 options. Boeing picks up 31 orders and 49 options.
