Kids’ musical will benefit foster children

ARLINGTON — The children of Smokey Point Community Church would like to invite the public for some fun and dessert as they help to benefit local foster kids and their families in this year’s Christmas musical, “The Story of Jesus Yesterday and Today.”

The concerts will be at 4 and 6:30 p.m. Dec. 9 with free admission.

The 50 children, ages 6 through 14, have been working hard since September to put together a great show to help benefit local foster kids.

Donations of new pajamas, socks and undergarments will be collected for Kids Dream Closet, which serves local foster children ages newborn to 18 years.

Smokey Point Community Church is at 17721 Smokey Point Blvd. in Arlington.
