Arlington: Council to discuss gambling
The Arlington City Council may vote on two measures involving gambling at a meeting at 7 p.m. today in the City Council Chambers, 110 E. Third St. In recent months, the City Council has discussed allowing house-banked gambling at some city businesses but hasn’t made a decision on the proposal.
Street closures for 2008, the possibility of a bond issue for a new Arlington library and several other proposals are also on the agenda.
