How many orders will Boeing win? Take a guess.

Eleven shopping days remain in 2007.

Not if you’re hoping to get little Timmy something for Christmas, of course, but airline and leasing company executives have a little bit longer to ponder jet purchases for this year.

Yesterday, Boeing posted its final orders update for 2007, listing 1,213 net orders this year. As you know, Boeing, like Airbus, has several orders it has announced but hasn’t finalized yet.

Several weeks ago, I asked you to send in your best guess of how many net orders Boeing will win in 2007. Let’s just say not many of you thought Boeing would get as far as it has this year.
