Wednesday feedback, plus a quick note

Barbara Gust writes, regarding the Talking Points section from Monday’s game:
From my perspective, I saw a Tips team suddenly become very tired in the third period against Kamloops. Being the 4th game in 5 nights, and having played extremely hard and very aggressively in each of 5 periods in their last 2 games, it looked like they just hit the wall. I say that, because in spite of some sloppy play resulting in penalties in that final period, I just never saw them give up. Though they played with some desperation (while we fans held our collective breaths), the energy and aggressiveness was there even though it looked like they had cement in their skates. It’s been quite awhile since they’ve played with that much heart and desire … it was vintage Tips.

One quick note from today. Matt Ius participated in practice at full speed, so the leg injury he suffered toward the end of Monday’s game wasn’t serious. However, center Zack Dailey remains sidelined with his groin injury and won’t play in this weekend’s three games.
