Meetings

New Hope Assembly of God in south Everett invites everyone to a series of special meetings with evangelist Charles Tucker from Las Cruces, N.M.

Service times are 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. each day through the following week.

There will be no Monday night service.

Pastor Wornell and the congregation invite the public to experience old-fashioned singing, special music and preaching.

Seminar

  • Prince of Peace Lutheran Church plans a Walk Through the Bible one-day seminar. Led by professor Lowell Stime of the Trinity Lutheran College faculty, participants can gain new insights for personal devotions or teacher training.

    Cost of the 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. seminar is $45, which includes lunch and seminar materials.

  • Monroe Seventh-day Adventist Church plans a biblical prophecy seminar called Hope in Troubled Waters.

    The seminar sessions are 7 p.m., today through Thursday.

    Classes

    Chabad Jewish Center of Snohomish County continues its course on the mystical view of human nature, Ten Steps to the Inner You.

    The 11-week winter series for Wednesday Night Kabbalah continues at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Chabad Jewish Center, 19 W. Intercity Ave., Everett. The class is open to adults; teenagers are welcome at parents’ discretion. The class is free; no registration is required.

    Free meals

    Faith Lutheran Church offers its Lunch Bunch meals from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month. The church is at 6708 Cady Road, Everett.

    Women’s events

    Registration is open for the next two series of the Christian-based Learn to Let Go and Grow workshops set for 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays or Thursdays beginning Tuesday and Thursday at the Old Snohomish Library, 105 Cedar Ave., Snohomish. Each of the evenings features a different series. Members select one seven-week series.

    Workshops are open to all women who register in advance.

    Support groups

    GriefShare, a weekly seminar and support group for people who are grieving a death, meets from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursdays at Church of the Nazarene, 8240 64th St. NE, Marysville.
