Beach to Top Prospects Game, more feedback

Just got word that Everett’s Kyle Beach was named to the CHL Top Prospects Game today. For those who don’t know about it, the Top Prospects Game is a showcase for the top players in the CHL eligible for this year’s NHL draft. Beach, as a likely lottery pick, was a no-brainer for the game.

Also, I received some more reader support for Zack Dailey. Andy Head had the following to say:

Without Zack in the lineup, opponents on the power play are 13/64, giving the ‘Tips a kill percentage of 79.7%.

With Dailey in the lineup, opponents on the power play are 25/202, bumping that kill percentage to 87.6%.

Plus he is one of only five players in the current lineup with a shorthanded goal — an OT game winner, if I remember correctly.

Yeah, I think he’s pretty good on the PK.

Not to mention the rest… amazing work ethic, everyday energy, ability to consistently win face-offs, unbelievable physical toughness given his size… mention his name to 10 season ticket holders and just see how many times the term “heart and soul of this team” comes up.
