Here are a few of the recent crime incidents reported to police around Snohomish County:

Arlington

* 3700 block of 172nd Street NE, Dec. 22. Someone stole a bag of prescription medicine from the seat of a car. The driver left the car unattended.

* 3500 block of 172nd Street NE, Dec. 21. A man was booked into jail after he was found with $258 worth of meat that he had shoplifted from a store. He was jailed on three counts of first-degree theft and for making false statements. The meat was returned to the store.

* 18000 block of Crown Ridge Boulevard, Dec. 20. A student reported that his iPod had been stolen from a classroom.

Stanwood

* 6800 block of 279th Street NW, Jan. 3. A 16-year-old Camano Island boy allegedly assaulted his father and tried to run from police. He was booked into a youth center on suspicion of fourth-degree domestic violence assault and resisting arrest.

* 27200 block of 101st Avenue NW, Jan. 2. A vehicle was damaged by spray paint.

* 9900 block of 272nd Street NW, Jan. 1. A 31-year-old Stanwood man took speakers out of his girlfriend’s car, which was parked at her home. He was booked into jail on suspicion of violating a no-contact order.
