Here are a few of the recent crime incidents reported to police around Snohomish County:

Arlington

20500 block of Olympic Place, Jan. 2. A juvenile allegedly stole beer from a supermarket and faces charges of theft and of being a minor while possessing and consuming alcohol.

3400 block of 169th Place NE, Jan. 2. A man walked into a video store and ran out with a ­PlayStation 3.

Stanwood

8700 block of 271st Street NW, Jan. 11. A driver struck a pedestrian in the crosswalk. The driver was traveling approximately 5 mph and apparently didn’t see the pedestrian. The pedestrian was not injured and declined aid.

7700 block of 273rd Street NW, Jan. 11. Four students were allegedly hanging out in a fenced yard without permission while skipping school. At least one student allegedly entered a vacant rental house on the property. Stanwood police are investigating.

9900 block of 272nd Street NW, Jan. 10. A 31-year-old Stanwood man allegedly attempted to break into a home by kicking in the door and breaking the door jamb. He also allegedly disabled the phone so the resident, who had a no-contact order against the man, could not call the police. The next day Stanwood police located, arrested and booked the suspect into jail.
