Man falls 40 feet from roof of Mukilteo house

MUKILTEO – A man who fell about 40 feet off a roof this morning was rushed by helicopter to a Seattle hospital, officials said.

The man was working on a home under construction in the 12000 block of Possession Lane when he fell around 11:15 a.m., said Leslie Hynes, a spokeswoman for Snohomish County Fire District 1.

The man was taken to Picnic Point Elementary school, where he was expected to be taken by helicopter to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Hynes said.
