Tuesday update

A few quick notes:
– It looks as though the Tips will still be down two defensemen for this weekend’s games. Graham Potuer will be back from his two-game suspension, but both Taylor Ellington and Mike Alexander are still expected to be out. Alexander (shoulder) is back skating in practice, but coach John Becanic said he probably won’t be ready for a game until next week. Ellington’s foot is still in a walking boot, so he’s still got a couple more weeks to go.
– Call-up defenseman Paul Sohor came back to Everett with the team following Friday’s game in Spokane and is practicing with the team. But with Potuer back the 1991-born Sohor, one of Everett’s top defensive prospects, is not scheduled to remain with the Tips to the weekend.
– Another fresh face joined the team in practice as goaltender Andrew Walsh took part. Walsh, a late 1990 birthdate, is a teammate of call-up defenseman Brenden Stephen with the Junior B Princeton Posse. He has a 22-15-3 record with a 2.89 goals against average and .907 save percentage. Didn’t get to see a whole lot of him during practice, but he skates well for a goalie.
