The U.S. House Appropriations subcommittee will question Pentagon officials tomorrow on their decision to give a $35 billion aerial refueling tanker contract to Northrop Grumman and EADS.

Many members of Congress, including Washington’s delegation, questioned the Air Force’s rationale for passing over the Boeing Co. and its 767 tanker, which is built in Everett.

The hearing starts Wednesday at 7 a.m. Pacific Standard Time, reports Reuters.
