Stephen rejoining Tips

Everett’s banged up defense is getting a bit of a reprieve as defenseman Brenden Stephen is rejoining the team.
The 1990-born Stephen appeared in three games earlier in the season as an emergency call-up. His junior B team, the Princeton Posse of the KIJHL, has been eliminated from the playoffs, meaning Stephen is free to join Everett for the remainder of the season.
With Taylor Ellington, Tyler Kieffer and Chris de la Lande still nursing injuries, Stephen’s presence will allow the Tips to safely field a lineup with a full complement of defensemen this weekend. And at 6-foot-7, he greatly increases the team’s average height.
