The Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe will be the site for the Spring National Grand Prix, a horse-jumping event.

“The A-circuit event is performed by high-caliber riders on high-caliber horses,” 4-H volunteer Kim Lobb said. “Some of these jumpers are the best of the best.”

The Spring National Grand Prix will start at 6:30 p.m. April 19. General admission is $5 adults, youth and seniors $3. Children under 5 are free.

Proceeds from the event will go to benefit local 4-H youth as a fundraiser for team travel expenses. For more information on the event, go to www.evergreenfair.org.
