Seminar to focus on blended families
Parenting in a blended family is common these days, and parents can be poorly prepared for the task.
Tim Cowan, a longtime member of Changes Parent Support Network, is scheduled to speak and lead a discussion from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Family Tree Apartments Community Room, 10110 19th Ave. SE, Everett.
The discussion includes the personal experiences of four people and covers the dynamics active in a blended family. An open discussion based on questions from the audience concludes the presentation.
The discussion is meant to present perspectives that might help both sides of a blended family understand each other’s fears and frustrations.
There is no charge for the seminar. Parents and professionals are welcome.
