The BIKES Club of Snohomish County, a nonprofit, recreational bicycle club, is accepting grant requests.

Snohomish County organizations that support recreational bicycling and bike safety will be considered. Previous grants have ranged from $100 to $1,000 and have supported children’s helmets, bike racks and rodeos and bikes for kids. Grants will be awarded by the end of June.

Requests should include a description of the project and the anticipated number of people the project may help. Include the full name and address of the group requesting the grant and a contact person, including e-mail address and telephone number.

Mail-in grant requests must be postmarked by June 6. E-mail grant requests must be received by June 9. Send requests to president@bikesclub.org or BIKES, P.O. Box 5242, Everett, WA 98206.
