Some tips for keeping your cool in the heat

Does the thought of summer make you break a sweat? Follow these tips to stay cool:

DON’T: Wipe sweat from your forehead with your sleeve

DO: Bring a hankie and turn away from dinner guests

DON’T: Apply deodorant in public

DO: Dip into a bathroom to dab on a travel-sized deodorant

DON’T: Mop your whole face with a large bandana, and carry it by your side

DO: Gently dab your face with a breathable cotton hankie that you can tuck away

DON’T: Tread the streets with grimy feet

DO: Wipe street dust from your sandaled toes with baby wipes

DON’T: Give your feet a “break” by sliding off your shoes

DO: Wear appropriate sandals or breathable canvas shoes to keep cool
