Roth and Albrecht

Gretchen Roth and Joshua Albrecht plan an Aug. 2 wedding at Jones Victorian Estate in Orange, Calif.

Their parents are Darryl and Valerie Roth of Chino Hills, Calif., and Janell and Daniel Albrecht of Lynnwood.

Joshua is a 1998 graduate of Mariner High School. He is a Master of Arms 2nd class petty officer in the U.S. Navy.

Gretchen is a 2003 graduate of Ayala High School in Chino Hills. She is a mass communication specialist in the Navy.

Joshua and Gretchen met on the USS Nimitz, where they are serving in the Navy. They will live in Silverdale after the wedding and will be stationed at Bangor Naval Base.

Hiron

Janice and Dean Hiron of Everett will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday.

The couple were married July 19, 1958, at Paine Air Force Base in Everett.

Janice and Dean have four children and five grandchildren.
