Volunteers earn baseball tickets

Do you volunteer in your community? United Way of Snohomish County, Cascade Bank and the Everett AquaSox are saying thanks by giving away free baseball tickets to the game Aug. 5 in Everett.

This year’s annual Volunteer Appreciation Night at the AquaSox includes a food drive to benefit the food bank distribution center run by Volunteers of America Western Washington.

Donations of nonperishable food items will be accepted, and peanut butter, canned tuna, vegetables and soups are especially welcome.

Donations of money will also be accepted.

For more information about the tickets and game, contact michelle.morris@ uwsc.org.
