EVERETT – Police said they’re looking for a man suspected in a Monday morning shooting death in south Everett. They fear he may be armed and dangerous.

Detectives believe James Richard Prizmich, 45, may be responsible for killing Cory Hamilton, Everett police Sgt. Robert Goetz said.

Officers found Hamilton, 38, dead on the ground in front of house in the 2400 block of 75th Street SE.

Prizmich may be aware that police are looking for him, Goetz said. If anyone sees Prizmich, they should call 911 immediately.

“Do not attempt to detain this suspect,” Goetz said.

Prizmich is described as white with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about Prizmich is asked to call the Everett Police Tip Line at 425-257-8450.
