Meet the author: Author Judith Nakken, a Tulalip resident, will sign her second book, “Stream and Light — A Woman’s Journey,” at 1 p.m. Thursday at Rainbow’s End in Everett.

“Stream” is a collection of short stories about events in her life, spanning about 70 years, from her childhood in South Dakota through her battle and recovery from alcoholism. Her first book, a story for young adults called “Three-Point Shot,” won a Writer’s Digest Award.
