The storage shed fire was called in about 8:40 p.m. in the 300 block of W. Wallace Street, Snohomish County Fire District 17 Chief Rick Hjelle said. The cause of that fire is under investigation by the Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office.
Granite Falls police are looking into a car fire that happened about 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of Jordan Road and Hemming Way, Hjelle said.
No one was injured in either fire.

Station 75 reopened Aug. 1. It was rebuilt to accommodate 24-hour staffing, officials said.

Everett: Man pleads in drive-by shooting
An Edmonds-area man has admitted he was part of a gang drive-by shooting that left an Everett teen with gunshot wounds.
Armando Lopez, 18, pleaded guilty to the June 11 drive-by shooting Wednesday in Snohomish County Superior Court.
Prosecutors plan to recommend Lopez spend more than a year in jail. He is scheduled to be sentenced in February.
Lopez isn’t obligated to provide any statements or testify in exchange for the plea agreement, court documents said.
The teen was in the back seat when another passenger opened fire on a 16-year-old boy in south Everett.
Members of the MS-13 gang allegedly planned the ambush in retaliation for a rival gang shooting at a Seattle mall in February.
Police haven’t arrested the shooter.
Warm Beach: Dryer fire damages duplex
A laundry room fire caused about $3,000 damage to a duplex Wednesday night.
Firefighters were called about 10 p.m. to the 18600 block of 94th Avenue NW, North County Fire and EMS Battalion Chief Christian Davis said.
Crews found a room filled with heavy smoke and were able to confine the blaze to the laundry area, he said.
Investigators believe the fire started in a dryer.
