Fire destroys portable toilet in Mountlake Terrace

Police are investigating a suspicious fire that destroyed a portable toilet and damaged two cars early Monday in Mountlake Terrace.

The fire was reported around 1:20 a.m. near an apartment complex in the 21800 block of 64th Avenue W., Mountlake Terrace police Sgt. Doug Hansen said.

Police are investigating the blaze as arson, he said. It caused about $5,000 damage.
