How to freeze berries

Fresh berries all year: Preserve summer berries now, while they’re cheap and full of flavor.
Lay them out in a single layer on a baking sheet, freeze for a couple of hours, then transfer to plastic bags.
They’ll stay good for a couple of months, and are great in cooked foods such as pancakes, cobblers, pies and sauces.
