The event will showcase artwork by John Romero, Terrance Guardipee, Andrew Morrison, Rudy Romero and Everett White.
Flutist Peter Ali and the Snoqualmie Tribe Dancers will peform during the show.
Chihuly chandelier to be exhibited
The Museum of Glass presents Laguna Murano Chandelier, a chandelier created by Dale Chihuly in collaboration with Italian glass masters Lino Tagliapietra and Pino Signoretto.
The immense chandelier, made up of individually blown and sculpted glass elements, will be on display beginning Sept. 14 in the Tacoma museum’s North Gallery.
In September 1996, at the conclusion of the event known as Chihuly Over Venice, Chihuly worked with Tagliapietra and Signoretto on the glassblowers’ island of Murano, in a historic, week-long collaboration.
The chandelier commands approximately 1,500 square feet and includes five separate elements — two suspended from the ceiling and three that rise from the floor.
Laguna Murano Chandelier will remain on display through April 19.
