Kindergarten quips: Robert Fulghum plans to speak at the Tulalip Resort Casino on Wednesday, sharing the quaint, inspirational view on life that made his books best-sellers.

Fulghum, who served as a minister at Edmonds Unitarian Church in the 1980s, is the keynote speaker at this year’s Spirit of Snohomish County Breakfast, a fundraiser for the United Way of Snohomish County.

More than 16 million copies of Fulghum’s books are in print. His most recent, “What on Earth Have I Done?,” was released in 2007. However, he remains best known for “All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten,” a best-seller in 1989.

Fulghum, a Seattle resident, maintains a journal at www.robertfulghum.com. For more on the breakfast, visit uwsc.org/spiritbreakfast.php.
