Monroe man jailed in south Everett drive-by shooting

EVERETT — A Monroe man was arrested Saturday after he opened fire with a handgun from a moving car in a south Everett neighborhood.
No one was hurt.
Police were called about 7 a.m. when someone saw the man shoot several rounds at homes in the 2900 block of 116th Street SE, according to court documents.
The witness gave police a description of the car and police found it at a gas station at the corner of 19th Avenue SE and 110th Street SE.
Police saw a gun in the car and also found marijuana, methamphetamine and nearly $400, the documents said.
The man was jailed for investigation of drive-by shooting, unlawful possession of a firearm and drug offenses.
