Woman in Everett struck by car

EVERETT – A woman was being rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle this afternoon with life threatening injuries after she was hit by a car.

A vehicle hit the woman around 4:10 p.m. in the 12600 block of 8th Avenue W., Snohomish County Fire District 1 spokeswoman Leslie Hynes said.

After hitting the woman, the car continued on, hit a tree and knocked it over, she said.

Snohomish County sheriff’s detectives are investigating.
