An apple a day: He’s already written about “The Cost of Living.” Now Lynnwood screenwriter Jeff Madsen is tackling some “Forbidden Fruit.”
Madsen plans to begin filming his next comedy, “Forbidden Fruit,” on Monday in Snohomish County. Like his last movie, it stars Snohomish’s Azmyth Kaminski, who appeared on the short-lived CBS reality show “Pirate Master” in 2007.
Scheduled to film in Everett and Sultan through Oct. 26, “Forbidden Fruit” is about a farmer who shares an irrigation ditch with a company that makes sexual enhancement drugs. After his apples are exposed to the drug, residents of the small town can’t get enough fruit.
While his new movie begins shooting, Madsen is still nailing down distribution for “The Cost of Living.” He said “several distributors” are interested in releasing the movie, possibly near Thanksgiving Day, but nothing is definite.
