Here is how some of your tax money was spent in recent city council action.

Lake Stevens: Up to $10,000 to the law firm Hillis, Martin, Clark and Peterson of Seattle for mediation in talks with Snohomish County and the city of Snohomish regarding urban growth boundaries.

Marysville: $44,442 to Tyler Technologies Inc. of Renton for one year of support services for the city’s Munis software system.

Monroe: $18,187 to the state Auditor’s Office for 2007 audit.

$783 to Ewing Irrigation Products Inc. of Phoenix, Ariz., for irrigation repair.

Snohomish: $1,358 to the city of Everett for animal shelter services in July.

$13,616 to Evergreen District Court, in Monroe, for court filing fees in July.

Arlington: $6,386 to Blue Marble Environmental, a Seattle consulting service, for help on the city’s recycling program.

$130 to Cedar Grove Composting of Everett for the disposal of organic waste.

$43 to Arlington Co-op Supply for dog food to feed the city’s canine unit.
