Two motorcyclists collide in Marysville

Two motorcycles crashed into each other Thursday afternoon, and a simple mistake is likely to blame. The collision happened in the 15800 block of 23rd Avenue NE about 5:30 p.m., Marysville Fire Department acting battalion chief Bob Magee said.

Both riders, who knew each other, were travelling in the same direction of 23rd Avenue NE. It appears that they collided after one of the drivers made a mistake, Magee said.

He said the two riders were taken to hospitals with minor to moderate injuries.

Nobody else was hurt.
