Who needs Christmas music? The Harmonica Pocket plans to take its quirky, catchy children’s music on the road for its Singing Thanksgiving Tour this month.
The group, based near Port Townsend, begins a flurry of scheduled appearances with a show at 10 a.m. Friday at Third Place Books, 17171 Bothell Way NE, Lake Forest Park. The group plays again at 2 p.m. Saturday at the same location.
After a few more shows in the Seattle area, Harmonica Pocket plans to play at 10 a.m. Monday at the Langley Library, 104 Second St., Langley.
The Harmonica Pocket deals in an eclectic style of pop music, combining acoustic guitar with unusual instruments from throughout the world. Along with classic children’s songs, the group performs originals, such as “Spiders in My Breakfast” and “One Tree Said.”
