Community Transit brings holiday cheer

The City of Lynnwood has announced the first Lynnwood Lights Celebration on Thursday, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Sponsored by Community Transit, the free event features Wii skiing, arts, crafts, ice carving demonstrations, puppets, storytelling and a visit from Santa Claus.

Nonperishable food and cash donations will be accepted for the Lynnwood Food Bank as well as toy donations for the Starlight Starbright Foundation.

Bid on art online at silent auction

Partake in a party and bid on art at a from gathering 5 to 8 p.m., Dec. 6 at the Arts of Snohomish Silent Auction. The gallery has taken bids all month and this is the big hooray and the last chance to snap up work by local artists.
