Fundraiser to help dogs seized recently

Local acts are getting together today for one dog of an event.
The Furry Friends Festival, held in Everett, will raise money for dogs rescued in recent kennel seizures and puppy mill operations in Snohomish and Skagit counties.
The daylong event includes performances by children’s performer Tim Noah at 10 a.m. and Everett jam band the Sean Keck Project at 3 p.m., among many others. Activities include a craft fair and a silent auction.
Performances are from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at the Holiday Inn, 3105 Pine St., Everett. For a full schedule, go to www. furryfriendsfestival.com.
