PORTLAND, Ore. — U.S. Attorney Karin Immergut announced Monday that a 45-year-old Granite Falls man who arranged to have sex with a 14-year-old girl has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison.
Gregory Charles Dolle pleaded guilty in December to charges he used the Internet to entice a minor. Though Dolle believed he was chatting with an underage Portland girl, he was actually communicating with an undercover FBI agent.
Officers arrested Dolle when he arrived to meet the girl.
Immergut said Dolle told investigators he had been watching the TV show “To Catch a Predator” and went online to see if the police were baiting or entrapping the predators. He said it was “just a game” to him.
