Froese does it again

Everett’s Byron Froese made yet another impact at the U-18 World Championships today, but this time it was against the best of the best. Sweden is thought to have the most-talented team in the tournament, but Froese scored the opening goal as Canada beat the Swedes 4-2 to clinch first place in its pool. It was Froese’s fourth goal and seventh point in four games. By finishing first in its pool Canada received a bye into Friday’s semifinals, where it will face the victor between the U.S. and the Czech Republic.

Is it just me or has this Silvertips blog morphed into the Byron Froese blog?
