School bus hits pole, no injuries

A school bus carrying three students Wednesday afternoon went off the road and hit a power pole.
The bus went off the road in the area of Menzel Lake Road and 24th Street NE just before 3 p.m., Snohomish County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said. No one was injured. The students are from the Granite Falls School District, Hover said.
The driver and the students had to stay on the bus until utility crews secured the fallen wires, Granite Falls firefighter Bill Dane said.
