Today, the Boeing Co. will brief the media about its 787 Dreamliner.

We’ll learn more about what will happen during the first flight as well as the flight test program. Boeing will give us insight into FAA certification for its all-new 787.

Check Heraldnet.com as well as this blog for updates on Wednesday.

In the meantime, Herald readers have been giving their two-cents on when Boeing’s delayed Dreamliner will fly. Although the company hasn’t given a definitive date, it has said the mostly composite 787 will fly by the end of June.

At the time of this posting, most poll takers agreed with Boeing, voting the 787 will fly before July 1.

However, about 36 percent of poll takers say the Dreamliner’s first flight will slide to July or later.

Boeing may have more on this today. But Herald readers can continue to weigh in on this topic until noon on Friday.
