The Boeing Co. gave the media glimpse today at its new 787 Dreamliner as it sat inside a paint hangar near factory in Everett.
Boeing employees are busy installing all the test wiring, sensors and other equipment that will be essential when the 787 makes its first flight sometime before the end of June.
The first Dreamliner looks almost as shiny and beautiful as it did nearly two years ago at its rollout event.
When the 787 rolls out of the paint hangar, the Dreamliner will be much more than the hollow shell we saw on 07/08/07. The 787 should be intact enough to fly. But it will still have series of tests to complete before taking flight, including fuel tank checks, demanding systems integration testing and taxiing.
