Hey, hey, they’re the monkeys: The Seattle-based kids’ entertainers Recess Monkey have a week of events planned for Saturday through June 20 to celebrate their new album, “Field Trip.” Most events are free. Highlights include:

Town Hall, at 1119 Eighth Ave., Seattle, will host a CD release show featuring the new album at 11 a.m. Saturday.

The group invites guests to come along as it takes its act on the water Sunday. The plan is to board the Bainbridge ferry at the Pier 52 Seattle terminal, 801 Alaskan Way. The group performs at 11:25 a.m. Ferry admission is $14.45 for a vehicle and driver, $6.70 for passengers ages 19 to 64.

A picnic is set for 6:30 p.m. June 15 at Golden Gardens Park, 8498 Seaview Place NW, Seattle. Bring your own picnic fare.

At 7 p.m. June 18, the trio will sing outside the Theo Chocolate Factory, 3400 Phinney Ave. N. and then tour the facility. The tour is free but limited to 100 people.

Finally, the band will perform at 11 a.m. June 20 at the Fremont Fair, 3560 Sixth Ave. NW, Seattle.

Details are at 206-235-2148 and www.recessmonkeytown.com. The CD will be out Tuesday.
