Marine Corps Pvt. James L. Fredriksen recently graduated from basic military training at the U.S. Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego and is taking additional training at Twentynine Palms Marine Corps Base in Southern California. He is the son of Rebecca Ableman of Arlington and Allan Fredriksen of Texas. He is a 2008 graduate of Woodinville High School.

Air Force Airman Krenil P. Dalire graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Segundino and Susana Dalire of Oak Harbor, and is a 2005 graduate of Oak Harbor High School.

Army Pvt. Zachary L. Gidley has graduated from the Direct Fire Infantryman One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. The training consists of Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training. Gidley is the son of Ralph Gidley Jr. of Tumtum, northwest of Spokane and grandson of Richard Cress of Arlington.
