McCrea-Dailey-Harper/Hunt

Elynuik-McGrath-Abney

Defensive pairings:

Notes: The Tips are still waiting to find out whether leading scorer Shane Harper can go tonight. Harper, who suffered an upper-body bruise in Wednesday’s game, will take the warm-up. If he can’t go, Dale Hunt steps in. Tonight is Everett’s first game without defenseman Radko Gudas, who’s off to World Juniors. Newcomer Curtis Kulchar steps into Gudas’ spot alongside Ryan Murray. Kent Simpson gets his second consecutive start in goal, the first time an Everett netminder has started back-to-back games since Thomas Heemskerk started on Nov. 21 and 25.

TRI-CITY

Forward lines:

Hughesman-Shinnimin-Lazo

Macek-Reddick-Messier

Prokop-Feser-Holland

Moser-Wilgosh-Castro

Defensive pairings:

Dow-Toll

Starting goalie:

Scratches: McIntosh, Yuen, Drozd, Kennedy.

Notes: Tri-City plays without center Sergei Drozd, who’s playing with Belarus at the B pool at World Juniors. Also out is left wing Todd Kennedy because of a shoulder injury. Drew Owsley gets yet another start, his 32nd in Tri-City’s 34 games.

—- UPDATE 7:30 p.m.
