Vandals cut fiber optic cables to Selah

YAKIMA — The Yakima County sheriff’s office says vandals cut fiber optic cables that carry phone, TV and Internet service to Selah.

The damage was reported early today by Charter Communications.

Repair crews found two cables cut at the railroad trestle that crosses the Naches River between Yakima and Selah.
