Everett City Council, 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, City Hall chambers, 3002 Wetmore Ave. Public hearing planned on authorizing the mayor to recommend the Hewitt Avenue District be listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Snohomish Economic Development Committee, 4 p.m., Tuesday, Soundair Inc., 1826 Bickford Ave. City manager will discuss updates with Department of Ecology regarding the wastewater plant.

Sultan small group workshop about comprehensive plan, 6 p.m., Tuesday, council chambers, 319 Main Street. Discussion will be about proposed changes that could affect utility rates.
