EVERETT — Sarah Desautels opened the scoring in the 26th minute and Glacier Peak coasted to its second straight state berth by shutting out Shorewood (11-8 overall). Louisa Pendergast and Brooke Gilbert added goals in the 38th and 56th minutes, respectively. Keeper Katie Hawkins earned the shutout for the Grizzlies (18-1-1). One shadow cast on their celebratory afternoon was a knee injury suffered by sophomore forward Brie Cleveland, who was carted off the field. Her prognosis was not immediately known.
