3A state volleyball: Oak Harbor, Meadowdale just miss trophy round

KENNEWICK — Wesco representatives Oak Harbor and Meadowdale both won their first consolation matches of the day but were then elimninated in the consolation semifinals. Oak Harbor efeated Holy Names 20-25, 25-17, 25-23, 25-19 before losing to Bishop Blanchet 25-17, 11-25, 25-17, 25-19. Meadowdale beat Timberline 25-19, 25-23, 28-26 before losing to Camas 25-16, 27-25, 25-17. Bishop Blanchet and Camas went on to play for fifth place.
