SHORELINE — Erin Ellersick led a balanced scoring effort for Shorewood as it earned their first victory of the season in the Wesco 3A game. Ellersick scored 13 points with three 3-pointers and senior guard Lisa Echert added 10 points for the Thunderbirds. The Wildcats remained winless on the season despite 11 points from Annie Leete.
