Life without plastic just got easier

I confess: I like using plastic for a lot of things.
Honestly, plastic in its myriad forms is pretty darn hard to escape.
Plastic: You’re typing on it, right?
However, there is a growing movement among the eco-set to move away (far, far away) from the ubiquitous substance.
I was recently asked about alternatives to plastic sandwich bags — and even alternatives plastic-lined reusable sandwich wraps — and I came up short.
Then I found this site, Life Without Plastic, which offers a variety of wood, glass, ceramic and high grade stainless steel.
Warning: These items are pricey (and heavy)!
But … they don’t all come from China and they’re kind of cool looking.
Also, though most glass containers from other places have plastic lids, these have metal ones, quite a novelty, I think.
They also have cute kids toys, BPA-free baby bottles and really cute canvas lunch bags and veggie sacks.
Awesome!
