SHORELINE — A King County sheriff’s spokesman said a 10-year-old Shoreline boy suffocated when he got stuck in a 3½-foot-high cardboard box nearly full of foam packing peanuts.
Sgt. John Urquhart said Daniel Gocus was playing hide and seek at his house with friends on Jan. 28 when he wound up headfirst in the box, which was stored in a closet.
Deputies said Daniel wasn’t found for at least an hour.
