Everett: Learn about athletic recruiting
Everett Public Schools will host two free informational sessions on March 8 and 9. Recruiting Realities provides student athletes and their families an educational resource about the collegiate athletic recruiting process.
Students, paren
ts and coaches are invited to attend.
The events will be on March 8 at Eisenhower Middle School, 10200 25th Ave SE*, and March 9 at Cascade High School, 801 E. Casino Road.
Both sessions begin at 7 p.m.

Comment on EvCC proposed building
The public is invited to weigh in on the environmental impacts of Everett Community College’s proposal to build a Nursing and Health Sciences Building at 10th Street and North Broadway.
The building would include classrooms and a 6,500-square foot outpatient clinic on the ground floor operated by Providence Hospital.
An environmental check list and other information necessary to analyze the environmental impact are available at the Everett Planning and Community Development Department at 2930 Wetmore Ave, Suite 8-A.
Written comments must be received by March 11.

Lynnwood: Nominate exceptional youth
Nominate a student in the seventh through 12th grades for a Youth Challenge Award. Within the Snohomish County community, there are students achieving success beyond academics and athletics who receive little attention.
Nominate someone to be honored in one of the following categories: community service, courage, creativity, environmental service, inspiration, leadership or a group award.

Sultan: Chamber hosts health fair
People are invited to meet health providers within the Sky Valley area starting at 10 a.m. Saturday at Summit Rehabilitation Physical Therapy, 507 W. Stevens Ave.
The free Sky Valley Health Fair plans to have blood pressure screenings, cholesterol checks and blood glucose testing among other things.
